The German Sidecar Festival 2026 - Motorsport Arena Oschersleben
Round 8 - Upto 750 class
Welcome to the eighth and final round of this year’s championship at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben Germany as one of the support races to the final round of this years World Sidecar Championship
Going into these races the championship had been clinched by Scott and Kenny at the previous round in Gedinne, partly due to the fact that last years championship winning driver Ray and new passenger Sarissa have not raced since their accident at Donington Park as Ray recovers from his injuries in readiness for the 2027 season. The only place in the top 3 up for grabs was third as Seppe and Dries had not made the trip to Oschersleben so giving Guido and Zeta a chance to catch them. When the teams started to arrive on the Thursday the big news was that Scott had been unable to travel to Oschersleben and that 8 times world champion Tim Reeves would be taking his place on the start line, in other news Willem Arends announced that this would be his final ever race weekend
Free Practice Friday afternoon saw Leon and new passenger Valentin taking pole position with Tim and Kenny taking second spot with Andy and Michiel finishing the session in third but with two qualifying sessions to come all could change.
Saturday morning and the first of the sessions Leon and Valentin stayed out in front with Alun and Soraya moving up to second and Guido and Zita moving up the third spot with both Andy and Michiel, Tim and Kenny both only managing a couple of laps before dropping out with mechanical issues which was terminal for Andy and Michiel. With Alun and Soraya moving up to second was not without incident with Soraya falling out and hurting her ankle and not been able to carry on for the rest of the weekend Michiel stepped in following his and Andy’s bike issues been terminal The second session followed in the afternoon and Leon and Valentin stayed at the top of the leader board with Tim and Kenny having fixed their issues were a close second behind them with Guido and Zita in third spot as for Alun and relief passenger Michiel finished sixth.
Waking up Sunday morning to bright sunshine the first race could not come soon enough for the teams.
Race 1 got under way at lap record pace with Leon and Valentin, Tim and Kenny battling throughout the race till lap 7 when Tim and Kenny retired with mechanical issues that left a door for Alun and Michiel to move up to second with Guido and Zita dropping out with own mechanical issues on lap 5 this left newcomer Marc Beltman with Nicolai Klinker on the side to be able move up to third spot.
Race 2 was following the World Championship race, again the pace at the front was fast, lap record pace and this time Tim and Kenny having fixed their problems from the first race claimed first place just a second in front of Leon and Valentin with Guido and Zita coming home third having also fixing their issues from the first race as for Alun and Michiel they stopped on lap 2 with mechanical issues leaving Marc and Nicolai to finish fourth in only Marc’s second ever race.
As far as the overall championship with Scott and Kenny taking the title that Ray and Sarissa in second and Seppe and Dries in third
Roll on to 2027 and a great season to look forward too with potentially a couple of new circuits to look forward too as well

The final round of this years season takes place in 5 weeks ( 2nd - 4th 0cotber) time at the Motorsport Arena in Oschersleben as part the German sidecar Festival .
With both the class titles been wrapped up at Gedinne by Marvin Vermeulen and Troy Klinker in the upto 750 class and Scott Lawrie with Kenny Roegiers in the upto 750 class its only the overall Camathias Cup title to be confirmed which is between these two teams with 50 points separating both teams.

The Bob McIntyre Memorial Races 2026 - East Fortune Raceway
Round 3 - Over 750 class
Welcome to the third round of this year’s championship at East Fortune Raceway just south of Edinburgh in Scotland, part of the Bob McIntyre Memorial Classic Races.
Going into these races the championship was led by Ray and Sarissa by 30 points from joint second placed teams of Seppe and Dries and Scott and Kenny with Seppe and Dries not making the journey to Scotland for this round, will Ray and Sarissa keep top spot or will Scott and Kenny finish the weekend at the top of the championship? We arrived on Friday, following the signing on, the scrutineers came round to each team to check over their bikes. All set for the weekend with the weather forecast being favourable but windy.
At the Bob Mac you can take part in six races but with only 2 races counting towards the Camathias Cup championship there are also practice and qualifying sessions. So, practice got underway with the teams heading out on to circuit at 9.30am for some teams their first time there. Danny Quirk and Sharon Reeves set the pace in the first session with Scott and Kenny in second with Jon and Ian taking third spot, with Ray and Sarissa down in fifth spot.
On to the qualifying session just before lunch on the Saturday morning and it was Scott and Kenny who took first from Danny and Sharon taking 2 seconds off their practice session time with Andy and Michiel leaped frogged Jon and Ian up to third place. Andy and Michiel brakes locked up on the sidecar going to the right corner at the end of the railway straight, the damaged ruled them out of the rest of the weekends racing.
Race 1 Was mid-afternoon Saturday took place in bright sunshine with a strong wind blowing down the railway straight which made braking difficult to judge. Danny and Sharon made a fantastic start which left Scott and Kenny down in fourth with Ray and Sarissa and Guido and Zita rounding out the top 3. By lap 3 Scott and Kenny had moved up into third and Guido and Zita down into fourth were they both finish the race. Scott and Kenny moved into the lead with two laps to go and there is where they finished setting a new lap record in the process. There were race long battles going on down the field Kobus and Nicolai getting the better of the husband-and-wife team Alistair and Patti Lewis and Jon and Ian pulling out with mechanical issues and Steve Cox and Youri van Rhenen finishing seventh.
Race 2 First race after lunch on the Sunday Danny and Sharon take the lead from the start but by lap two Scott and Kenny had taken the lead with Ray and Sarissa in third and that was how it finished for the first three while further down the field there were battles going on which saw Guido and Zita take fourth and Kobus and Nicolai again getting the better of Alistair and Patti with Jon and Ian again pulling out with mechanical issues with Steve and Youri coming in seventh.
As far as the overall championship with Scott and Kenny taking two wins, they cut the gap at the top to Ray and Sarissa to twelve points and Seppe and Dries still in third with sixty-two points behind.
On to Round 4 at the VFV Klassic GP at Schleirer Dreieck the 3rd – 5th July, with a full grid its promising to be a great weekend of racing.
The Bob McIntyre Memorial Races 2026 - East Fortune Raceway
Round 3 - Upto 750 class
Welcome to the third round of this year’s championship at East Fortune Raceway just south of Edinburgh in Scotland, part of the Bob McIntyre Memorial Classic Races.
Going into these races the championship was a joint affair with both last year's champions Jan and Gabrielle and runners up Robert and Marja both at the top of the table with 65 points each following the first two rounds. But with Jan and Gabrielle not making this long trip to Scotland there was the potential for new championship leaders following these races. With Marvin and Troy in third place following their two DNF’s at Assen. We arrived on Friday, following the signing on, the scrutineers came round to each team to check over their bikes. All set for the weekend with the weather forecast being favourable but windy.
At the Bob Mac you can take part in six races with only 2 counting towards the Camathias Cup championship and 2 practice / qualifying sessions as well. So practice got underway with the teams heading out on to circuit at 9.30am for some teams their first time there. Juan and Julie on the Norton this weekend following problems at Assen with their Weslake pulled in, Marvin and Troy putting in the fastest lap with Robert and Marja second Adrian Dawson and Alan Cracknell in third.
On to the qualifying session just before lunch on the Saturday morning and it was Marvin and Troy laying down a marker for the rest of the weekend with the fastest time with Adrian and Alan in second and Robert and Marja in third.
Race 1 Was mid afternoon Saturday took place in bright sunshine with a strong wind blowing down the railway straight which made braking difficult to judge. Marvin and Troy led from start to finish with Robert and Marja battling Adrian and Allan the whole race, with Robert and Marja claiming second and Adrian and Alan claiming third with Geert Blondeel and Ger Schroen taking fourth and Juan and Julie retired with mechanical issues.
Race 2 First race after lunch on the Sunday saw Marvin and Troy following on from the first race and taking the lead from the start to the checker flag with Robert and Marja coming in second and Adrian and Alan coming in third and Geert and Ger fourth.
As far as the overall championship is concerned Robert and Marja are top by 5 points from Marvin and Troy with Jan and Gabielle in third spot.
On to Round 4 at the VFV Klassic GP at Schleirer Dreieck the 3rd – 5th July, with a full grid its promising to be a great weekend of racing.
Ducati Club Race 2026 - TT Circuit Assen
Round 2 - Upto 750 class
Welcome to the second round of this year’s championship at Assen in the Netherlands known as the Cathedral of Speed.
With Marvin and Troy leading the leading the championship from Robert and Marja and last year’s winners Jan and Gabrielle in third. We arrived at Assen on the Thursday afternoon for the second round of this year’s championship ready to for the first qualifying on the Friday afternoon following signing on and scrutineering on Friday morning all was set with weather been warm but a rain shower arrived just before we were due on track so slight delay before the teams were allowed out on a damp track. So first qualifying started at 17.35, with it been wet several teams opted not to go out on the damp circuit, Marvin and Troy had the fastest lap from Kia and Wolfgang taking second with Jari van Rhenen and Lisa Smallegange in third with Yens van den Bor and Lisa Keur and husband and wife team of Paul and Tamara van Rhenen rounding out the top 5.
On to the second qualifying session early Saturday afternoon in the dry it was Marvin and Troy who set the fastest lap with Kia and Wolfgang 5 seconds behind them with Robert and Marja third with Yens and Lisa and Jan and Gabrielle rounding out the top 5.
Race 1 Saturday evening took place about an hour later than planned due to a massive thunder storm passed through with everyone was holding on their awning so they didn’t blow away. When the race started it was Marvin and Troy leading the way, Robert and Marja had a broken belt on the run up to the first corner and that was the end of their race, by lap two Marvin and Troy had dropped out with mechanical problems followed by Kia and Wolfgang which left Yens and
Ducati Club Race 2026 - TT Circuit Assen
Round 2 - Over 750 class
Welcome to the second round of this year’s championship at Assen in the Netherlands known as the Cathedral of Speed.
We started the weekend with Scott and Kenny leading the championship from last year’s winner Ray and Sarissa by 10 points with Geral and Iles de Haas in third. We arrived at Assen on the Thursday afternoon ready to go for the first qualifying on the Friday afternoon. Following signing on and scrutineering on Friday morning all was set with weather been warm but rain arrived just before we were due on track so a slight delay before the teams were allowed out on a damp track.
So first qualifying started at 17.35, with it been wet several teams opted not to go out on the damp circuit so Seppe and Dries had the fastest lap with Leon Nagel and Herbert Wilferth second followed by Andy and Michiel third, Ray and Sarissa and husband and wife team Patti and Alistair Lewis rounding out the top 5.
On to the second qualifying session early Saturday afternoon in the dry it was Scott and Kenny who set the fastest lap with Seppe and Dries been a close second behind them with Leon and Herbert third and Jon Perkins and Ian Nickels and Andy and Michiel round out the top 5. with one of the favourites Ray and Sarissa only in sixth place.
Race 1 Saturday evening took place about an hour later than planned due to a massive thunder storm which passed through Assen, everyone had to quickly hold on to their awning or tents to stop them blowing away. When the race started Andy and Michiel from fourth on the grid was leading into the first corner but it was not to last with Scott and Kenny closely followed by Seppe and Dries over taking the early leaders going down the back straight. Scott and Kenny dropped out with mechanical issues after the first lap, which left Seppe and Dries to take over the lead, and Jon and Ian moving into second with Ray and Sarissa moving into third, by the end of lap 3 Ray and Sarissa moved into second place and Jon and Ian in third which is how the race finished, with Leon and Herbert and Andy and Michiel rounding out the top 5 places.
Race 2 Sunday lunch time saw Scott and Kenny missing from the starting grid with their mechanical issues from yesterday and not being able to repair their outfit. The start saw Andy and Michiel launch off the grid again and lead into the first corner with Ray and Sarissa and Seppe and Dries following close behind. At the end of the first lap Ray and Sarissa had taken the lead with Seppe and Dries closing in, at the end of lap 2 Seppe and Dries had taken the lead and pulled away from the chasing pack. This put Ray and Sarissa in second and Jon and Ian in Third and that is how the race finished with Alistair and Patti in fourth and Leon and Herbert in fifth, following his second excursion off the track at De Bult which took him out of challenging for a top 3 finish.
We all now move on Round 3 at Bob Mac Memorial race meeting at East Fortune circuit just south of Edinburgh in Scotland.
Gedinne (Belgium)
Round 7 takes us to the very popular meeting of the year, on the roads of Gedinne in Belgium, The one meeting you should go too whether to race or just to watch.

International Road Race - Varsselring Hengelo GLD
Round 1 - Upto 750 class
Welcome to the first round of this year’s championship at the road circuit Varsselring at Hengelo GRD the Netherlands on the 2nd 3rd May.
With Jan Beens and Gabrielle Arends looking to defend their championship or will Robert Schoonderbeek and Marja van den Bor finally win a Championship with Marvin Vermeulen and Troy Klinker circling in the back ground looking to regain their crown. Or could one of the news teams in this year’s championship take the crown.
So first qualifying started at 9.20 on Saturday morning with Marvin and Troy taking the fast lap with Robert and Marja second and the German team of Kia Fisher and the ever-young Wolfgang Helms taking third by 0.00.500 of a second over Jan and Gabrielle.
On to the second qualifying session just after lunch time, it was the same order again with Patrick Karls and Vincent van den Hautte taking Fourth spot.
Saturday evening and the last race of day at the Varsselring saw Marvin and Troy put down a marker for the season with a race winning time of over 30 seconds quicker from their nearest rivals of Robert and Marja with Patrick and Vincent in third with Kia and Wolfgang and Jan and Gabrielle rounding out the top 5.
Sunday lunch time saw Race 2 with Marvin and Troy putting in another dominant display winning the race by over 45 seconds from Robert and Marja with Jan and Gabrielle in third and Kia and Wolfgang and Yens van den Bor and Lisa Keur rounding out the top 5. Yens and Lisa being a new team for the 2026 season, Yens was a championship winning passenger last season with Ray Reeves in the over 750 class and is the nephew of Marja.
We roll on to Assen for Round 2 this years championship
International Road Race - Varsselring Hengelo GLD
Round 1 - Over 750 class
Welcome to the first round of this year’s championship at the road circuit Varsselring at Hengelo GRD the Netherlands.
With Ray Reeves and new passenger for the 2026 season Sarissa ter Steeg looking to defend their championship or will Zita and Guido Reichmuth win back their crown. The over 750 class has a lot of competition down the grid including Seppe Noel with new passenger Dries Laveyne and can finally Scott Lawrie and Kenny Roegiers put their mechanical gremlins behind them.
So first qualifying started at 9.20 on Saturday morning with Scott and Kenny taking the fast lap with Seppe and Dries second 0.00.805 behind them with Ray and Sarissa third and Szymon Spychala and Thomas Korzyniewski and Kobus Bouman and Nicolai Klinker rounding out the top 5.
On to the second qualifying session just after lunch time, it was Scott and Kenny setting an unofficial lap record of 2.17.326 leading the way from Ray and Sarissa 9 seconds behind followed by Zita and Guido who had sorted their mechanical issues from first qualifying in third with Kobus and Nicolai and Szymon and Thomas rounding out the top fire.
Saturday evening and the last race of day at the Varsselring saw Scott and Kenny lead the way by 20 seconds over Ray and Sarissa and setting a new lap record along the way of 2.17.465, they were followed by Kobus and Nicolia in third with Zita and Guido taking fourth and Szymon and Thomas rounding out the top 5.
Sunday lunch time saw Race 2 with Scott and Kenny putting in another dominant display winning the race and setting a new lap record 2.16.511 but was only 1.5 second in front of Ray and Sarissa this time who also beat Scott and Kennys previous lap record, with Andy Nourish and Michiel Leeflang 1.5 min behind and father and daughter team of Geral and Iles de Hass finishing off the top 5, Both Kobus and Nicolia and Zita and Guido did not finish the race.

Round 4 of this season's championship sees us visiting Schleiz again following on from last years great weekend.
The Schleizer Dreieck, is the oldest natural racetrack in Germany.
